"Mind`s are like Parachutes. They only Function When They are Open"
Thomas Dewey

JUST A NOTE------

WE WILL BE BLESSED IF WE CARE FOR SICK, POOR AND OLD
COMFORT PEOPLE WHO ARE IN THE HOSPITAL, A NURSING HOME OR AT HOME BY DOING LITTLE SOMETHING FOR THEM
SEND A NOTE OR NICE CARD, COOK MEAL FOR THEM, VISIT, BRING A SMALL GIFT
PRAY FOR THEM IN PERSON OR OVER THE PHONE.
IF YOU ARE ABLE, HELP THEM WITH MONEY
DO EVERYTHING WITH A JOYFUL SPIRIT. IF WE ARE HEALTHY, WORK HARD, EARN MONEY AND SUPPORT THE LESS FORTUNATE
TAKE TIME FOR OTHERS AND GOD WILL GIVE MORE HEALTHY TIME FOR US

GOD HAS A GREAT PURPOSE FOR OUR LIVES, KNOW WHAT YOUR PURPOSE IS AND ASK YOURSELF EVERY MORNING WHAT LITTLE SOMETHING CAN YOU DO FOR SOMEONE ELSE

SEEK GOD VERY EARLY IN THE MORNING AND ASK GOD WHAT CAN YOU DO TO MAKE A BETTER WORLD BE PART OF IT, DO THE VERY BEST YOU CAN FOR OTHERS. GOD TOOK CARE OF YOU IN YOUR DIFFICULT DAYS, THE DARK TIMES OF OUR LIFE, WHEN WE CLIMBED THE MOST DIFFICULT STAIRWAYS, HE ALLOWED US DO TAKE ONE DAY AT A TIME.

WILL YOU REMEMBER AND TAKE CARE THE LESS FORTUNATE, GOD WILL REWARD YOU

LET US DREAM BIG AND BELIEVE IN OURSELVES AND KNOW THAT GOD CAN DO MIRACLES
WORK HARD EVERY DAY AND GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY

LET US PRAY FOR THIS COUNTRY AND PEOPLE TO HAVE THAT BLESSED HOPE
NEVER MISS AN OPPERTUNITY TO HELP OTHERS, HELPING THE LESS FORTUNATE IS HONORING GOD
MAY THE LORD BLESS EVERY ONE WHO HAVE A CHEERFUL HEART AND GREAT SMILE

Communities will decide how their allocations from this fund should be spent and the most heavily impacted communities will receive the greatest percentage of these funds.

MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Florida Hurricane Relief Fund is to raise money to help Floridians with relief and recovery through strengthening families and rebuilding communities.

GOALS
Fill gaps in funding for services that stabilize and strengthen families.

Heart of United Way

HEART OF FLORIDA UNITED WAY
Heart of Florida United Way has launched a long-term hurricane recovery fund that will help health and human services agencies in Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties to recover from the devastating affects of hurricanes Charley, Frances and Jeanne. The fund, which marks the organizations first-ever specialized community impact fund, will provide agencies with a much-needed source of revenue that can be used to address long term needs. This fund will give local agencies the resources they badly need to recover from the hurricanes. These agencies have been there for the community in the wake of the hurricane. Now the community can return the favor to the agencies by supporting this fund. Donors can contribute to the Hurricane Recovery Fund by donating a portion of, or all, of The Heart of Florida United way gift to code No. 8499.
